1.      Fire Fighting Equipment

i)       Fire Extinguishers – foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder

ii)      Fire Alarm and gas detector with automatic shut downs

iii)    Fire Hoses –  greater than length of boat, reel mounted, with nozzles

iv)   Fire Hydrants on fore and after decks and in Engine Room, operated from ER electric fire pump, or hand pump on aft deck. Portable frame mounted  Yanmar diesel  pump with 5m suction hose and 50mm output which can be connected to fire hydrant line or directly to fire hose; this can also be used as an emergency bilge pump

 

2.      Lifesaving Equipment

i)       Lifebuoys - 16 units Perry buoy 30” ring, 2 x man-over-board auto lamps and smoke units

ii)      Liferafts – 2 x 10 persons with hydrostatic releases (SOLAS)

iii)    16 units - personal life jackets with strobe lights

iv)    2 units “406” ACR EPRIBs with built-in GPS (1 automatic with hydrostatic release, 1 manual), registered with HK Marine Department and NOAA

v)     2 units  Jotron “X” band radar Search and Rescue Transponder, and

 4 units Icom GM-1500 handheld waterproof VHF

 

3.      Companion ways, port & starboard, with teak steps and landing stage, with electric hoists

 

4.      Ground tackle

·        Simpson – Lawrence stockless anchor, 2 x 250kg/550 lb, Lloyd’s tested

·         Anchor Chain – 2 lengths (110m/360’ and 75m/250’) Simpson – Lawrence, ¾” stud link, Lloyd’s tested

·         Anchor Windlass - Simpson–Lawrence Model 515, 2 ton pull, speed 10m/35ft per minute, with 5.5 KW, AC 380v 3-phase motor

·        Danforth 90H Hi-tensile kedge anchor with 5 m ¾” chain and warp.

 

5.        Boats and tenders

·        Castoldi Pro 6m RIB with Yanmar inboard diesel 4JH3-DTE, 125 bhp, driving Castoldi Jet 05 with Durethane impeller

·        Ribtec 5.4m RIB with Yanmar inboard diesel model 4JH3-DTE, 125 bhp, driving Hamilton Jet

·        Avon 3.10m “lite” rib with oars and 9.9 hp Tohatsu  outboard engine

 

6.      Boat Cranes – 2 units

·      MKG “Deerberg” foldable telescopic hydraulic cranes  HMC 60K,  on boat deck, port & starboard;

Lloyds approved, SWL 1.02 tons at 5m outreach, 1.9 tons at 2.3m, fitted with 1.5 ton Rotzler hydraulic winch,

10mm stainless steel wire and hook for vertical lifts, powered by

·       1 unit of hydraulic power pack (15 kW AC 380v 3 phase motor)

 

7.      Bollards, cleats, hawse pipes and deck fittings were custom made using 316 stainless steel by Supercraft (HK) Ltd
